U.K. FOSSIL SEA URCHINS
Echinoids or sea urchins are very common in today's oceans and are common as fossils also.
Echinoids are part of the larger animal group known as echinoderms,
which includes starfish and crinoids.
They are found on most continents and are widely collected. Some are called "sand dollars"
